MakersLoft Pvt Ltd is a leading institute for hand-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) education for children of ages 2-14 years. We are based in Bangalore & Kolkata. Our programs include Coding, Robotics, 3D Printing, LEGO based courses for development of creativity and technology skills. We conduct in-schools and after-school programs at activity centres and apartment complexes. We also help schools setup design and innovation labs to help prepare students for 21st century careers. ​Job Title: Lego Teacher 

Part time Montessori trained teachers

Location: Bangalore

Salary: Based on total hours of engagement.

      Responsibilities:

      • Teach 2-6 year olds through hands-on building Lego blocks - numbers, vocabulary, story-telling, shapes, patterns, colors, animals, birds, vehicles, machines, friends and community etc.

      • Conduct classes in complexes, activity centres, pre-schools and schools

      • Conduct online classes

      • Document students learning in each class and conduct assessments at the end of the course

      • Give regular feedback to parents and to MakersLoft coordinator and management

      • Maintain the Lego kits, teaching materials etc. in proper condition

      • Assist in developing curriculum and course content

       

      Required Experience and Qualifications

      • Graduates with at least 2-3 years teaching experience in a pre-school

      • Prefer candidates trained in Montessori method

      • Skilled with using blocks, making flashcards, worksheets, rhymes

      • Candidate must have excellent English communication skills

      • Ability to engage with children and handle a group of children independently

      • Knowledge of of computers and setup to take online classes as needed


      Training will be provided on the curriculum, content and processes of MakersLoft

Location: Bangalore

Duration: 3-6 months

Stipend: Commission on sales. Transportation costs and out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed on actuals.

Letter of recommendation shall be provided upon successful completion of internship. 

This position could convert into a full time position after 6 months, if the candidate performs consistently and meets expectations.

      We are looking for candidates with:

      • Diploma or degree in internet marketing, social media, or proof of relevant skills through one’s own online portfolio or social media accounts

      • Great sense of aesthetics and ability to creating engaging content for social media

      • Excellent English written and oral communication and presentation skills
