Arduino is easy to use open source platform

consisting of hardware and software that is

designed for students who want to create

interactive objects or environments.


This course is suitable for students between the age group 12-18 years. No prior experience required. Upon successful completion of the course students shall receive a Certificate. Students must carry a laptop for programming.

This course is of 15 sessions. Each session is of 2 hours. MakersLoft provides flexibility of learning experience, so students can learn at their own pace. You can do classes once a week during school days to upto 5 times a week during holidays and vacations. Classes are available on week days as well as on weekends.

What's Next?

This course will help students with solving real life problems. They will learn to connect software and hardware together neatly, easily and temporarily. Students who are interested in developing their programming skills further are recommended to enroll for the Programming course. 

Arduino can interact with buttons, LEDs, motors, speakers, GPS units, cameras, the internet, and even your smart-phone or your TV! 

Arduino consists of both a physical programmable circuit board (often referred to as a microcontrollers) and a piece of software, or IDE (Integrated Development Environment) that runs on your computer, used to write and upload computer code to the physical board. You can say Ardunio is like “Lego for electronics”!

Why should my child learn Arduino?

Kids are naturally curious. They like to take apart and find out why things are the way they are. But teaching complex electronics and technology to children can be difficult.

Arduino makes it easy for students to connect software and hardware together neatly, easily and temporarily. All this without the worry about damaging expensive circuitry or computer parts!

Children can also be impatient and want (almost) immediate results. Because Arduino is super fast at prototyping and amazingly powerful, students can see results immediately.

What kind of projects will students make in this course?

Students will explore the applications of Arduino in solving real life problems. They will start with simple home automation projects like controlling LED lights and move on to complex projects like Alcohol detection System to minimise accidents or a Smart Irrigation System which will take care of your plants without you are away and much more.
